Our CEO Pedro Balsa participated in the 1st meeting of the technical committee for the environment
On February 20th was held the first meeting of the technical committee for the environment for the XV International Congress of Energy and Mineral Resources under the slogan "Working for society" that is to be held from October 28 to 30 of this year. The meeting was preceded by Dean Rafael Monsalve and committee chairman Angel Arias. This congress comes by the hand of the National Association of Mining Engineers together with the Official College of Mining Engineers of the Center and will take place at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Crongresos in Leon.
This committee is conformed by President Ángel Manuel Arias Fernández and those responsible for the sub-areas: Fco. Javier Carrillo de Albornoz Portes and Eduardo González Fernández, in charge of the area of ââair and water conditions, Ángel Manuel Arías Fernández and José Luis Bermúdez Méndez , in charge of the area of ââaffections to flora and fauna, Fernando Pedrazuela González, Enrique Orche and Jose Luis Parra and Alfaro, in charge of the area of ââRestoration of the environment and geological and mining heritage, Maria Cubillo Sagües, responsible for the area of ââCO2 Capture and finally, Conchi Casado Sulé and Pedro Balsa Escalante, in charge of the Training and environmental lesgislation area.
One of the main objectives that this congress seeks is to show the commitment of mining engineering on innovation with a vision of the welfare of society. The congress will exhibit the technological advances related to mining, energy, water and environment that are being developed.
