Saudi Arabia VISION 2030 strategic business sectors
Saudi Arabia is the first economy in the Middle East Region and one of the largest in the world. The Kingdom is currently experiencing a unique moment of economic, political and social opening. To learn more about its geopolitical situation and business opportunities, Madrid Network, jointly with Leapman, has organized a working breakfast on the subject.
The event was chaired by Gema Sanz Madrid network Business Development Director. While Manuel Hidalgo Leapman KSA Country Manager and Pedro Balsa Leapman CEO participate as keynote speakers.
Saudi Arabia has very low tax rates and a high perception of Spanish companies as assured by Manuel Hidalgo who has lived there for more than 5 years.
Pedro Balsa, meanwhile, stressed that Vision 2030 wants to transform a country whose economy is based on state-owned companies and with practically a single productive sector, Oil & Gas, in a diversified country with significant weight from the private sector. Regarding the sectors to be highlighted, the focus is on renewable energy, tourism, mining and logistics.
